“My husband and I had to return to the mainland for a little over a month. Not having spent a great deal of time in Honolulu we knew no one well enough to trust Ria to.  I searched online for a service that wasn’t a kennel and found three.  Pampered Pets was my third choice. Had I known then what I know now, it would have been my only choice.  The reason the service didn’t rank first on my list is that it seemed to cater to cats and birds. I was clearly wrong. Ria was in great care and had a fabulous time.  

Most helpful was meeting Serena and Louise at their home before making the final decision to board her there. It gave me the confidence I was looking for that Ria would be in good care. Their on-going personalized communication were a real bonus. Most importantly, when we picked up Ria and saw how well she was doing, we knew we had made the right choice.

It’s also worth noting that they had the confidence to deal with a well meaning but not always easy dog.  Ria wants to please but lacks some socialization skills. They were both very good with her.

Finally, they were hugely helpful with her meds and special veterinary needs. I couldn’t have imagined a better situation all around. Many many thanks.

“It was great overall.  The caregiver was easy to contact before hand, and during.  Her animals were friendly and well taken care, and her home had what our dog needed, plus room to play outdoors.  We felt like he was safe and happy while there, and certainly came home tired from all the play.  The caregiver was particularly helpful when our flight was canceled, and we had to board him one extra day.  She was easy to work with, and this has been a positive experience.  We are likely repeat customers!”
